Our pupils are currently creating a new logo for the school's Dining Hall, the logo will be professionaly produced and will be unveiled shortly!

Exciting new look dining space
The dining hall has been refurbished, an area for entertainment has been incorporated and there is a new seating area in the main hall, adjacent to the dining area, with access to a music channel.
The food is now prepared in-house by our professional team of catering staff. The staff have designed a fresh new menu which includes traditional roast beef and chicken dinners, homemade lasagne and jacket potatoes with a variety of fillings. There is also a choice of fresh fruit, healthy drinks and ‘Fruity Pops’.

We have introduced a healthy ‘Deli Bar’ which is proving very popular with our pupils. Students can select from a mix and match of different fillings in a variety of wholesome breads.

Packed lunch 'Meal Deals', including a nourishing sandwich, can be selected to meet everyone’s taste. The Meal Deal can be ordered in advance or on the day and can either be eaten-in or taken away. Prices start at £2.10.

We have inserted a Cashless Card System for our catering service. This follows on from requests from parents who feel it will be a more convenient method for the pupils. The card system will reduce queuing time and therefore encourage more pupils to eat in the dining space. If you are entitled to a free school meal, your account will be credited with the free school meal allowance every day.

We frequently have theme days celebrating different cultural events from Guy Fawkes Day, Oriental Day, Polish and German Day to Shrove Tuesday. Themed lunchtime menus introduce our pupils to different tastes and cultures. At Christmas, pupils from our community feeder schools are invited to lunch with us at Carnforth, giving them a positive introduction to High School life.

Entertainment We have incorporated entertainment areas, or social spaces where people can relax with friends and enjoy their favourite Music Channel or Films.

We want everyone to enjoy their lunchtime experience, from the varied choice of menu, the new look dining area to the welcoming approach of our catering staff.
