Relationships, Sex and Health Education

The information below outlines where issues of Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) will be taught to KS3 and KS4 students in the 2025/26 academic year within the lead delivery vehicle of our Life Skills curriculum. Students receive one lesson of Life Skills a week in all year groups. Additionally, RHSE is also delivered more broadly within and across the school, including through the academic Science curriculum, in our weekly Personal Development form time sessions and in assemblies. We also have a strong focus on PSHE and RSHE, including visits from external organisations, on our Enrichment Days and other events. Below you will also find a document from the Department for Education explaining the importance of RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) in schools and some other key information for parents/carers to be aware of.
