GCSE Certificate Presentation Evening – 07/12/2023

Dear Parents/Carers

I hope this letter finds you well. As the Assistant Headteacher at Carnforth High School, I am writing to inform you about an upcoming event that celebrates the achievements of our Year 11 students from last year.

We would like to invite you and your child to our GCSE Certificate Presentation Evening, which will take place on Thursday, 7th December from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in the school hall. This event is a special occasion where we recognize the hard work and dedication of our students throughout their GCSE studies.

During the evening, there will be a short talk highlighting the successes of our leaving students. It is always inspiring to hear about their achievements and the progress they have made during their time at Carnforth High School. Following this, we will present the GCSE certificates to the students. This is a proud moment for both the students and their families, and we would be delighted if you could join us to share in their joy.

Additionally, I would like to inform you that the GCSE art coursework will be available for collection at the same time, from the dining hall. Please ensure that your child collects their art coursework during the event, as after this date it can only be collected by appointment and we will no longer be able to store the artwork after April 2024.

We kindly request that you and your child arrive promptly at 5:30pm, as the presentation will begin shortly after. We believe that this event not only allows us to celebrate the achievements of our students, but also provides an opportunity for them to reflect on their journey and express gratitude towards their teachers and parents for their support.

We hope that you can attend this special evening and join us in celebrating the success of our students. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours faithfully,

Scott McCormick
Assistant Headteacher
