KS4 Curriculum

At KS4 pupils are offered the chance to take the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Hair Services. The qualification is equivalent to 4 GCSE’s, Grade ‘A’ to ‘C’

The course is completed over two years with elements of theoretical underpinning knowledge and practical skills, students are assessed at the conclusion of each unit throughout the two year course.

The units pupil are taught and assessed in are:

• Health & Safety in Hairdressing
• Style and Dress Hair
• The art of colouring
• The art of dressing hair
